The Somnambulist: 2 R.E.M. 7:20

The Sleepwalker awoke from his slumber, and so he took a nap.

And in his dreams, he dreamed of sleep, and in his sleep, he lived countless dreams.

When he awoke, the dreams faded away into the nightmare of the waking life.

And so, he once again laid down his head, and once again he dreamed of sleep.

And in his sleep, he lived countless dreams.

And in his dreams he dreamed of sleep.

And in his sleep, he awoke.

And when he finally rose from bed, he saw that his dreams remained. They did not disappear.

The Sleepwalker had awakened his Sleeping Self

And the nightmare of the waking world had been put to rest.
